DANVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) -- Police are asking for help finding the body of a woman they say was murdered. 50-year old Barbara Rose disappearaed a week-and-a-half ago.

Tuesday, her boyfriend, 26-year old Ocheil Keys, was charged with her murder and covering it up.

Authorities say they have enough evidence to indicate she's dead, and that Keys killed her, but they haven't found her body. Officials say they can't share the information which led them to the conclusion just yet.

Keys and Rose lived together on Cleveland Street. She was last seen outside the home with an unidentified man, on October 22.

Friends say, before she disappeared, she was trying to break things off with Keys and she'd recently learned he was seeing another woman.

Now, investigators say they're working to find her body. Keys' bail is set at $5 million.

At the time of his arrest, he was out on bond and waiting to go to trial for an unrelated case from last year. He's charged with aggravated battery to a child and unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.

DANVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) -- A man is facing murder charges in the case of the missing woman from Danville.

50-year old Barbara Rose has been missing since last week. 26 year old Ocheil Keys was arraigned Tuesday. He's charged with first degree murder and concealing that crime.

Rose's close friends found out Keys was dating another woman at the same time. She didn't want to go on camera, but said she had no idea who Rose was until she heard about the arrest.

But even though keys is in custody, Rose's friends and family still don't have the answers they're looking for.

"Barb's fun spirited, family oriented, big hearted, a lot of fun to be around she brought a lot of joy into our lives."

That joy was taken away when her best friend disappeared last week. Police haven't found Rose's body, but they did find enough evidence to arrest her boyfriend, Ocheil Keys for murder. Keys was dating the mother of five for about a year.

"The boys weren't comfortable with him and they did not like him him for her."

And it seems like there are several reasons for that. One is that another woman says she was also dating keys for about the same time. Rose found out about it recently.

"She was trying to break it off with him and get him to move out of the house."

But Rose's friends say she never thought her life was in danger.

"It makes my heart hurt because Barb was a good person and she didn't deserve this."

Now this is what they're looking for.

"The family has no closure until this is done. You can tell us that somebody did it and that it's been done but until we have her back with us and it's proven that ita her, that closure won't happen."

Police say Rose shared that home with Keys on Cleveland Street. Right now they're not releasing any other details on the evidence they found.

At the time of Keys arrest he was out on bond and waiting to go to trial for an unrelated case from last year. He was charged with aggravated battery to a child and unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.

Update: 10:00 pm, 10/29/17, Sunday

DANVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) -- Sunday marks a week since an area woman went missing.

50-year old Barbara Rose was last seen leaving her house with an unidentified person, last Sunday, October 23, around noon. Police have been looking for her since Tuesday.

This week, family and friends organized a search party of their own. They spent Sunday looking for Rose in the woods near her house on Cleveland Street.

They say they've searched Danville top-to-bottom and they won't stop until they find her. Barbara Rose has five kids, a dog and a job. Now, she has a search party.

"My first reaction is something bad has happened because she would never just leave."

Jennifer Williams has been helping look for Rose. She's known her 25 years and says the circumstances of her disappearance are troubling.

"Her car is here, her phone's been shut off for a whole seven days and Barb's on her phone 24/7. They don't see any activity on her credit card or debit card at all. She hasn't been to work. She hasn't called any of her friends or family at all."

But, the family has been been in touch with police. They say authorities are questioning multiple suspects, but don't have any solid leads just yet.

"Police have searched. They have a warrant to search the entire premises. They have her car. They're searching her car. Police are coming in with forensic evidence to see if there was any foul play inside the home."

Rose lives here with her boyfriend and daughters, who Williams says she would never abandon.

"We believe something has happened to her. We believe somebody knows. We just believe that she did not leave on her own free will. If she did leave on her own free will, she hasn't returned against her will."

Family and friends say they've handed out about 1,000 misisng persons fliers in the past week. They say they hope spreading the word brings Rose home.

Rose is white, between 5' - 5'3", 180 lbs., with blonde hair and green eyes.
