More arrests in triple shooting

DANVILLE -- Police arrested two more men in connection with last Friday's shooting on Moore Street. It brings the total number of suspects to five.

Kinnie Walker and Jeremie Reeves, both 25 of Danville, were taken into custody about 4:30 pm Wednesday, in the 1600-block of Beechwood. Walker faces a preliminary charge of aggravated battery with a firearm and Reeves is charged with mob action.

Three others were previously arrested. Malcolm Dunn faces charges of unlawful use of a gun, while Joquin Washington and Cordario Townsend face charges of aggravated battery.

Three people were shot while in the 1000-block of Moore Street Friday night.

DANVILLE -- Police made another arrest in last week's shooting. Malcolm Dunn, of Danville, is charged with unlawful use of a gun. Dunn is the third person arrested in the crime. Three people were hurt. One is still hospitalized.

DANVILLE -- Police made a second arrest in last Friday night's shooting. 19-year old Joquin Washington is charged with aggravated battery. 25-year old Cordario Townsend was arrested Friday night on the same charges. Three people were shot in the 1000-block of Moore Street. One victim remains hospitalized in stable condition.

DANVILLE -- Police arrested one man for a shooting which wounded three people. It happened Friday in the 1000-block of Moore Street.

25-year old Cordario Townsend faces charges of aggravated battery with a firearm. Police say two groups of men had a verbal disagreement. A 19-year old male was shot in the chest, a 33-year old woman and another 19-year old male were both shot in their legs.

The victim with the chest wound is in stable condition. The other two were treated and released from the hospital.

DANVILLE -- Officers were called to a shooting at 1006 Moore Street, around 6:30 pm. They say two groups of men had a disagreement with both sides exchanging words. Then shots were fired. Witnesses say little children were outside playing at the time, and gun violence picks up around this time of year.

As far as the gunshot victims; a 19-year old male was shot in the chest; a 33-year old woman and another 19-year old male were both shot in their legs.

Police don't have any suspects in custody. They're asking the community to come forward.
