Multi-agency work nabs bank robbery suspect

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WCIA) -- An Indiana man was arrested shortly after reportedly committed a bank robbery. It happened about 11:30 am, at PNC Bank, in the 2200-block of West Market Street.

The suspect entered the bank and demanded money. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Authorities say surveillance images, plus a description of the suspect and vehicle information led them to   conduct a traffic stop on I-74, near LeRoy.

Zachary Finchum, 31, of Fort Wayne, Ind., was arrested for financial institution robbery.

Agencies involved in the investigation include the Bloomington Police Department, Illinois State Police, McLean County Sheriff's Office and the LeRoy Police Department.
