Murder-for-hire trial resolved in hours

DOUGLAS COUNTY -- A trial started and ended in just over two hours Wednesday. 31-year old Jennifer Inman was charged with hiring someone to kill her ex-boyfriend. She was found not guilty by reason of insanity.

DOUGLAS COUNTY -- The trial for a woman accused of hiring someone to kill her ex-boyfriend started Wednesday. A sting operation led to the arrest of 31-year old Jennifer Inman. If convicted, she faces 20 - 40 years in prison.

TUSCOLA -- Police arrested a Teutopolis woman for reportedly trying to hire someone to kill her ex-boyfriend. 30-year old Jennifer Inman is charged a Class X felony of with solicitation of murder for hire. Her bond is set at $500,000.

Multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in the investigation. Wednesday, a sting operation was performed which provided authorities with statements and evidence to charge Inman. She faces 20 - 40 years in prison if convicted.
