TUSCOLA -- People in Douglas County are trying to save history by saving the museum. This year is the museum's 30th anniversary.

The president of its Board of Directors says people have done a great job of supporting it through the years, but they need help raising money for a full-time director.

The president says the effort isn't so much for today as it is for the next generation. Many of the exhibits have to do with agriculture and there's an entire display dedicated to veterans from the area.
