CENTRAL ILLINOIS -- There's a big need for food, not just now, but 365-days a year. The Eastern Illinois Foodbank doesn't directly serve clients.

It provides food to pantries, soup kitchens and shelters. 70% of the food those groups distribute is from the food-bank.

In the past year, it provided more than 7-million pounds of food to more than 220-agencies. 55,000 people each month get their food from the Eastern Illinois Foodbank.
