Neighbors are calling it a family feud. One that ended with a Danville man in the hospital. He was shot last night in the 200-block of North Kimball Street.
The man accused of pulling the trigger turned himself in. Police were called shortly before 10 pm. They say, minutes later, the shooter came to them. The man is 30-year old Ralph Morris, of Danville.
Family members say he was on Kimball Street visiting when he got into a fight. That's when investigators say Morris pulled out a gun and shot the other man.
One neighbor actually heard the shooting. Family members say the men are related. Morris was taken to the Vermilion County jail. The victim underwent surgery this morning.
