RIDGE FARM -- Downtown Ridge Farm is a little more colorful now. The town got a visit from the Wall Dogs. It's a group of artists who go to different cities around the country and paint murals.

The unveiling of the painting was Sunday afternoon. Anyone in town was invited to grab a brush and help out. The mural's design honors all the veterans in town.

"We had a lot of people come up during the week while it was being painted," said Leigh Busy, the Chairman of the Ridge Farm Veterans Memorial Committee. "We've heard some really touching stories and we've seen a lot of emotion in the veterans."

Some of the artists who painted the mural in Danville were the same ones here. There was raffle for a 100+ year old pistol as well as an ice cream social.
