CHAMPAIGN --- The Orpheum Children's Museum debuted a new exhibit Saturday. It combines education with video games and kids are already eating it up.

Lost Points LLC and Nuvixa are two University of Illinois research park companies which developed the software. It takes the X-BOX Kinect video camera and puts your image into a virtual world.

Nuvixa uses the technology for business settings, but to make things fun, Lost Points helped apply the technology to educational games for kids. Orpheum's Executive Director Sonya Darter says the museum is thrilled to add a new interactive exhibit. Lost Points says this is just one of the many ways the company aims to give back to the community.
