MONTICELLO -- It was terror for those working in an area flower shop Saturday. A pick-up truck crashed into the Boka Flower Shop. People inside tell WCIA-3's Gary Brode what happened.

"I thought it was a car accident outside and I stepped to look at it and it was coming at me!"

Sophie Catlin was walking down the hall.

"I heard a noise and thought this has to be really close to the window."

So, she looked to see what it was.

"Brown dust and parts of the cinder block in the wall was coming toward me."

It was a truck heading towards her through the walls of the Boka Shop. Sophie was able to get out of harm's way in time.

"I don't know what caused him to hit it, but you can see what happened. He bounced into the street."

After the truck hit, owner Donna Catlin had one thing in mind.

"To make sure no one was hurt. There had been customers in here all day, pretty steady all day. We just kind of had a lull."

Donna was thankful there were no injuries in the store. The shop was closed for the rest of the day. As for the future, Sophie Catlin knows the store and her mother will bounce back.

"I know she'll be fine. It's a setback, but she always gets it done."

The driver of the Jeep, Nathan Swarts, 24, was taken to the hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. The cause of the accident is still under investigation, but may have been medically-related.
