Oklahoma victim fund scam

ILLINOIS -- People have been trying to help victims of the Oklahoma tornado as much as they can, but there's one plea for help you should stay away from. The Salvation Army is warning of an automated phone scam.

The call, asks for money stating: "The American Red Cross and the Salvation Army are on site working, and we need more funding to keep help coming."

The scam call comes from (888) 981 - 6499. The Salvation Army is warning people to spread the word and to not donate to the call.
