NATIONAL -- Neiman Marcus says one million customers were impacted by a security breach. The company says malicious software scooped up credit and debit card information between July and October.

Visa, MasterCard and Discover reported 2,400 cards were used by thieves. The retailer is offering customers a free year of credit monitoring and identity-theft protection.
