CHAMPAIGN -- An Urbana driver did some damage to a police car Monday night; about $2,000 worth. It's been part of the fleet for about six months.

Police say 29-year old Da-Eun Kim ran a red light on the corner of First and Green. She was cited for DUI. The officer who was driving is fine.

Officers say it's a good reminder for the upcoming holiday weekend. Investigators say they plan to be out and about during the Thanksgiving weekend to make sure people are wearing their seat belts and driving carefully.
