JOLIET -- The murder trial of former police officer, Drew Peterson, is underway. He's accused of killing his third wife, Kathleen Savio, in 2004.

He's also under investigation for the 2007 disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy. In opening statements, prosecutors said Peterson had boasted he could kill someone and make it look like an accident.

Peterson's lawyer painted Savio as a bitter and manipulative liar who would take Peterson for all he had.
