Police and coroner conduct death investigation

BLOOMINGTON -- Police say the body of a man, who was thought to be homeless, was found under the Main Street overpass near the city's downtown. About 6 am, Thursday, public works employees reported seeing an unresponsive man who may have been beaten.

When police arrived, it was determined the man was dead. The coroner is trying to determine the cause of death and contact any possible relatives. Police are conducting a death investigation.
