FORSYTH -- Just one day after the Boston bombing, a Central Illinois town had its own bomb scare. Police responded to the 900- block of Stevens Creek Circle where they found what appeared to be grenades in a sewer drain. After investigating, the bomb squad determined they were just toys.

The Macon County Sheriff says it's unclear if this was some sort of prank, or if the toys had been sitting in the drain for a while and no one noticed until now. City workers originally spotted the toy grenades while doing a routine check in the area.
