Police investigate possible stabbing

JACKSONVILLE -- The Morgan County Coroner says a man killed by his relative was stabbed several times. It happened at 37 Ivywood Drive. Investigators got to the home about 4:30 Saturday morning.

They found a 70-year old man lying in a pool of blood inside the suspect's garage. That suspect is Robert Heitbrink. Police say he was still there when they arrived and his family was home at the time of the attack.

Police say the victim, William McElhaney, was visiting from South Carolina. Heitbrink works for ReMax Results Plus. No bond has been set in his arrest.

Dispatchers say officers are still processing the scene. Officials say someone has already been arrested in connection to the crime.
