URBANA -- Police send out a warning to parents on Twitter. It's about "smiles," a new synthetic drug that's becoming popular across the nation.

It's a synthetic hallucinogen in the form of a white power and it can easily be hidden in just about anything, even candy. Police tweeted a Yahoo article for parents to read.

It says the drug, also known as "2C-I" has become a big problem in North Dakota, Indiana and Minnesota. Smiles is known to cause seizures, kidney failure and high blood pressure and can even be deadly.
