CENTRAL ILLINOIS -- Fewer than 200 Ameren customers are still in the dark after snow and wind knocked out power. It includes ten in Sangamon County and 15 in Tazewell County. Ameren set up an emergency operations center Wednesday morning to help streamline the process.

The center was used sixteen times last year. It involves about seven workers who manage storm response teams around the state. They expect to have power fully restored statewide by the end of the day.
