Prison sentence reduced to probation

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY -- A Philo woman who caused her cousin's death had her prison sentence reduced to probation. Katheryn Daly was sentenced by a judge for a second time. Daly was driving an ATV when she crashed in 2013. Her cousin, Annie Daly, died. Katheryn was charged with aggravated DUI and sentenced to 3.5 years in prison. She appealed and was re-sentenced to 30-months probation.

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY -- A Philo woman is sentenced to three-and-a-half years in jail after pleading guilty to reckless homicide. Katheryn Daly was sentenced Friday. She was driving an ATV with her cousin, last year, when she crashed. Her cousin, Annie Daly, 19, was killed. Katheryn Daly admitted drinking before the crash. Two counts of aggravated DUI were dismissed with the plea agreement.
