URBANA -- The American Cancer Society is celebrating its 00th anniversary by sharing stories of hope. One of those is Brendan Harley's. He's an assistant professor at UI.

He beat leukemia 18-years ago after a bone marrow transplant. Now he's using his own experience in the research lab to search for new treatments to help cancer patients. Harley's work is being funded by the American Cancer Society.
