RANTOUL -- 250 new cadets walked through the doors at the Lincoln's Challenge Academy Monday. Some are from Decatur and Peoria, but most are from Chicago. It's the first of two groups. The teens range from 16 - 18 years old.

Some of the kids had run-ins with the law, but not all. Organizers hope the five months at the academy will help kids get back on the right track. The cadets graduate in June.
