Quinn earmarks $9 billion for infrastructure

ILLINOIS -- Governor Quinn unveiled a nearly $9 billion transportation plan over the next six years. Several area roads and bridges are on the list for improvement. One of the biggest is a proposed $52 million for work on I-74 near Champaign and Danville.

Also on the list is almost $28 million for resurfacing and bridgework on I-72 and Route 51 in Decatur. Another $28 million will be spend in Sangamon County on I-72 and more than $72 million for improvements to I-70 in Effingham.
