Quinn vetoes bill to slash museum free days

SPRINGFIELD -- Museum visitors don't have to worry about losing free days. Governor Quinn vetoed a bill which would have cut the annual number of 52 free days in half.

Quinn wrote a letter to lawmakers saying museums "aren't just for tourists visiting on the weekends." He says many families can only visit on days when they are open free of charge.
