CHAMPAIGN -- Riders hopped on their choppers to raise money for Wounded Warriors. The Champaign County Marine Corps League held its 8th Poker Run Saturday.

The weather affected turnout with only about 60 motorcyclists taking part in supporting veterans. In previous years, there have been as many as 200 riders. About half the riders are veterans themselves.

Organizers say they usually raise between $3,000 - $4,000 with the run. The money supports local and national programs like building homes for wounded vets.
