NEWMAN -- The race for governor comes to Central Illinois. Republican Bruce Rauner joined a group of farmers in Lincoln. He said there needs to be property tax relief. He also said the state needs to update its waterway system and farmers should be more involved in the everyday operation of the AG department.

Governor Quinn has spoken out against corporations moving out of the country to avoid taxes. He criticized Rauner for not doing the same. Rauner said he's not for corporate welfare and he did not give his opinion, calling it a "federal issue."
