Religious leaders want tougher gun laws

SPRINGFIELD -- Governor Quinn is working to toughen gun control laws and now he's getting help from religious leaders. They turned in petitions asking lawmakers to pass what they call "common sense gun legislation."

Some of their ideas include banning assault weapons and high capacity ammunition magazines. They'd also like a better tracking system for lost or stolen guns and universal background checks.
