CHAMPAIGN -- A group took to the streets Wednesday, hoping to inspire change. It's an initiative called 40 Days of Non-Violence. The march, from the historic Douglass Building to Bradley, is part of it.

Walkers hope to highlight positive areas of the African-American community and spread the message. It was the first year for the event and stemmed from a Black History program at Central High School.
