Reward offered in arson investigation

STREATOR -- The reward for information leading to the arrest of a serial arsonist is increasing. The city's had 14-suspicious fires since last summer.

The fire department is offering a reward of $10,000 and Crime Stoppers is adding another $10,000. People who lived near the burned-out homes are taking matters into their own hands. Foreclosed homes have been the main targets.

Anyone with information is asked to call authorities.

STREATOR -- Arson has become a huge problem. There have been 14-fires in just over a year. Authorities are now offering a reward.

The town is north of Champaign. The fires have happened all over town. The most recent was last weekend.

Most of the targets have been foreclosed homes. At least five buildings were a total loss.

The fire department is offering $10,000 to anyone with information leading to an arrest.
