Robbery suspect apprehended during another heist

EFFINGHAM COUNTY -- Illinois State Police have identified a man in connection to a recent bank robbery. It happened at the First Financial Bank, in Marshall, on Friday, August 15.

Authorities say the subject, apprehended during a bank robbery in Ohio, matched the description of the suspect in the Marshall robbery. No other information has been released.

CLARK COUNTY -- Multiple law enforcement agencies are investigating a bank robbery. It happened at the First Financial Bank, in Marshall, about 11:20 am, Friday.

The suspect is described as a white man, late 30's - early 40's, 5'8", about 200 lbs., with side burns and facial hair. He was wearing a cream-colored ball-cap and gray t-shirt. It's possible he left in a small, dark-blue, metallic, SUV.
