SPRINGFIELD -- The Salvation Army is setting up a disaster relief fund to help the victims of Monday's deadly Oklahoma tornado. People are encouraged to donate cash because sorting, boxing and delivering supplies and other goods can be costly and time-consuming.

The Salvation Army plans to use donations to buy items near disaster sites to stimulate the economy and make for a faster delivery.
