PAXTON -- Everyone is OK after a school bus and semi collide. It happened on Pells Street about 6:45 am Thursday.

Authorities say the bus driver stopped at the intersection then turned into the path of the truck and was hit from behind. The bus driver said he didn't see the oncoming semi.

PBL's superintendent says four kids and one adult monitor were on the bus. The students were treated at the scene and released to their parents. Both drivers and the monitor are OK.

The bus driver was cited for failure to yield. The semi driver was ticketed for not having a log book.
