CHAMPAIGN -- Unit 4 School District knows hunger doesn't take a vacation in the summer. With no school, leaders are offering free breakfast and lunch to kids. It kicked off Friday at the Douglass Center.

The program also runs at several other locations. It's for kids who get free- or reduced-price meals during the school year. To get a meal, a child must be 18 or younger. The district is partnering with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to serve the free meals.
