CHAMPAIGN -- One school hopes to move forward with its plans for a new campus. The city council could approve the layout for the new Judah Christian School at its meeting Tuesday night.

The new campus on Rising Road would be built in three phases, starting with new athletic fields. The campus will be built on 50-acres originally part of a housing subdivision.

School leaders say it's an exciting time for the city. They hope to have new athletic fields in place by fall. The next step is to begin fundraising to build the new high school.
