Search teams find body in water

LOVINGTON -- The name of the man whose body was found in a Moultrie County pond has been released. The coroner says 26-year old Dustin Roauch drown after his car submerged in the water.

Police found his car Sunday morning. Authorities say Roauch was able to escape the car, but couldn't get out of the water.

Update: 10:21 pm, 3/10/13, Sunday

LOVINGTON -- Search and rescue teams found a body in a pond. The sheriff's office got a call around 10:40 am about a car submerged in water northwest of Lovington.

Investigators say the driver ran off a roadway, hit an object and then landed in the pond. Crews pulled the car out but couldn't find the driver.

About 50 first responders searched. Divers then found the 26-year old man's body in the water around 6:15 pm.

Investigators say nobody else was in the car. They say the man was from Lovington, but they're not releasing his name at this time.

LOVINGTON- Search and rescue teams have found a body in waters of rural Moultrie County. The Moultrie County Disaster Action Team of the American Red Cross, deployed to a search and rescue call outside Lovington.

The team responded to the call around 3:30 pm. Hours later,  a body was pulled from the water.
