Set your sights on computer science!

URBANA -- Computer experts hope to fill gaps in the nationwide teacher shortage. Students at UI and others in the community learned about the problem Tuesday. There will be about 1.5 million new jobs in computer science by 2018. But, in 2010, just 12,000 people graduated with that degree.

He says computer science affects all aspects of our everyday lives and that's why it's so important to get kids involved when they're young. Plus, computer science jobs are some of the top-paying careers for people with undergraduate degrees.
