SADORUS - A woman is dead after being hit by a train in Sadorus late Saturday night. Fire fighters say they were called out around 10:30pm to an area along the railroad in the 100 block East Market Street.
The Champaign County Coroner says the victim was 32-year-old Adelyne Zaricor of Seymour. She was pronounced dead at the scene 11:50pm. Investigators say the three engine train was westbound.     They say the train's engineer saw Zaricor lying on the tracks. He then blew his horn and flashed his lights but couldn't avoid hitting her. Investigators say they're waiting to see video from a camera on the front of the train.
Investigators aren't sure how she ended up on the tracks. They say Zaricor had earlier been at the Game On Sports bar on Market Street, just south of the accident scene.
The Norfolk Southern Railroad, the Champaign County Sheriff's Office and the Champaign County Coroner's office will continue to investigate.
