Shooting at LAX

LOS ANGELES, CA -- A TSA agent is dead after a shooting Friday morning. It happened at Los Angeles International Airport.

Sources say 23-year old Paul Ciancia walked into a terminal and pulled an assault rifle out of a bag. It was at a security checkpoint.

Ciancia was shot and taken into police custody. Witnesses say he was wearing military-like clothing.

The LA Fire Chief says seven people were hurt. LAX officials have put outgoing flights on hold.

LOS ANGELES, CA -- Police are on the scene of the Los Angeles International Airport for a report of shots fired. Initial reports state a suspect entered Terminal 3 wearing camouflage clothing and carrying a high-powered rifle.

Shots were fired and at least one person was hurt. Police reportedly took the suspect into custody. The suspect may also have been wounded.
