NORMAL -- School officials are considering tightening security after Friday's shooting. District officials say, overall, they're pleased with the handling of the incident and response to the shooting.

But, there are a few areas they're considering changing. They want to improve the internal communication system with new walkie-talkies.

They also say, metal detectors are not off the table. Backpacks might also be banned from classrooms.
