GIFFORD -- One Champaign County community, hit by November's tornadoes, didn't hear sirens Tuesday. This is one of two sirens left standing after the twister ripped through town.

Village leaders aren't sure why they didn't work. They say the digital signal may need to be reprogrammed.

The sirens hadn't been tested since the tornado because it's been too cold, but as soon as a crew gets in, they plan to fix and test them as soon as possible.
