GIFFORD -- Tornado sirens are up and running again; and could be heard during a drill at 10 am, Tuesday. They were tested again after not activating last week during a statewide test.

Village leaders say they fixed the problem which was a weak signal from an encoder. Authorities are considering replacing one siren which was destroyed in the storm at a cost of about $20,000.
