DANVILLE -- Small Business Saturday has come and gone, but some local stores say they're still cashing in. Charlotte's Daughter is a resale shop which opened earlier this year. The owner says they had special deals for Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday. She says they see the whole weekend as an opportunity to reach out to shoppers.

"Just because you're small doesn't mean technology can't work well for you," said owner Shannon Schroeder. "It's worked very well for us."

Everyone who came to the store got a discount on Monday. Shoppers who liked Charlotte's Daughter on Facebook saved even more money. Schroder says she loves to see people coming in to get surprise gifts for their loved ones.
