CHAMPAIGN -- A lot of campus restaurants use social media to advertise, but Mia Za's on Green Street used it to get back a stolen painting. One couple went upstairs to eat and left with an original painting which belonged to the restaurant.

What the couple didn't know was a camera was upstairs, capturing their actions all on tape. When they leave, the painting is hidden under the man's shirt.

Mia Za's realized the painting was missing when someone found the empty frame. One of the managers posted the photos on the site, "Reddit," Saturday.

Just a few hours later, they got a call from a man who admitted stealing the painting. He apologized and said he would return the picture.

The owner doesn't plan on pressing charges as long as he gets the artwork back. It's a big part of Mia Za's. It's there for everyone to enjoy.
