TAYLORVILLE -- City leaders are doing their part to Go Green. They held a ribbon cutting today for a solar energy facility at the airport.
The idea was two years in the making. So far, it's produced enough energy to power 97 homes for one day. Officials hope it will pay for itself in fewer than 12-years.
