State challenges shoppers to reinvest in Illinois' food

ILLINOIS -- The Illinois Department of Agriculture is challenging you to buy Illinois-made products. The IDOA is looking for just $10 of your weekly food budget.

Leaders say, if every Illinois' household did that, more than $2.4 billion a year would be reinvested in the state's economy. Accepting the challenge is simple and would support thousands of jobs in the farming and food industries.
