SPRINGFIELD -- The state has been ordered to cancel its contract with a consulting company by the end of the year. Maximus was hired to remove ineligible people from Medicaid and help save the state almost $2 billion a year.

But, an arbitrator has ruled the contract should end. Governor Quinn hasn't decided yet whether he'll appeal. Republican leaders want him to, saying Maximus is doing a good job.
