Retired state workers fear their health care could be in jeopardy.

A proposed bill would change how health care benefits are determined for retired workers. Right now, they're negotiated between unions and the state, but that wouldn't be the case any longer. The Director of Central Management Services would be in charge of figuring out how much they'll pay in premiums.

Opponents worry it will become too expensive for seniors to afford. The bill passed out of the Senate and is now being reviewed by the House.
