The store's assistant manager said they've already gotten their spring stuff out of storage, but they still had people come in looking for salt, shovels and sleds.
"I had a couple people come in yesterday, getting prepared for today, asking where the snow shovels were," said Rural King assistant manager Dana Laidley. "And today we just decided to make it easy and drag it all up front so that way, everything's right here. get them in, get them out, with this weather."
Laidley said she didn't see as many customers looking for snow gear as she expected, but added that could be because they thought the storm would go around instead of coming through the city.
