CATLIN -- A separate tornado ripped through Vermilion County, destroying a home just outside Catlin. The damage was strewn for miles.

We knew homes were damaged, but weren't sure where to look. Then, we found a trail of debris and followed it to Freda Verner's home.

She was at work when the tornado hit Sunday. Her husband told her the roof got ripped off, but you can see it was a lot worse than that.

Freda says people started coming to help her clean up within a half hour of the storm passing through. Catlin High School students have also been lending a few strong hands to the cause.

The storm swept parts of Freda's home all across the field. She says bits and pieces are all that's left, but she's happy her family and pets are all OK.

One of the things Freda had packed away was Easter eggs for next year's hunt. She says they're scattered all over the place now, just a few months earlier than usual.

Another separate storm hit other parts of Vermilion County, in Belgium. Roofs were ripped off trailers and people spent the day cleaning up. There were also crews busy fixing power lines along some of the main roads.
