SOCHI, RUSSIA -- A University of Illinois student has landed for the Paralympic Games. Tatyana McFadden qualified to compete in all the cross country skiing events. The opening ceremonies kick off Friday.

It's a much different scene in Russia after the country took military action in the Ukraine. Even though there won't be a U.S. presidential delegation there, President Obama says he wishes the best to all athletes.
